The "Sterling Hill" dig area is the large open area
adjacent to the Mining Museum and the giant
conveyor belt structure seen in the photo on home page --
as well as the dig area, you will have access to the
mining museum, the mine itself, the conveyor,
and even the Astronomy Observatory if weather is good.
